ABOUT OUR SERVICES
Who is eligible for Mission Earned's services?
We serve veterans, active-duty service members, members of the National Guard and Reserve, and their families and caregivers. You don't need a disability rating or a particular era of service to reach out — if you served, or you're supporting someone who did, we want to hear from you.
Does it cost anything to work with Mission Earned?
No. Every service we provide is free to veterans, service members, and their families. As a nonprofit, our work is funded by donors and community partners — never by fees charged to the people we serve.
Do you file VA claims for me?
No — Mission Earned is not a Veterans Service Organization (VSO), and we don't prepare or file VA claims ourselves. What we do is help you understand your options, get your documentation in order, and connect you with an accredited representative who can file on your behalf. We then stay with you through the process so you're never navigating it alone.
Do I need my DD-214 to get started?
No — you can start the conversation without it. Your DD-214 helps us move faster once we're identifying specific benefits, but it isn't a barrier to reaching out. If you can't locate your copy, we'll walk you through requesting your records from the National Archives.
How is Mission Earned funded?
Mission Earned Veteran Resource Network, Inc. is a nonprofit supported by individual donors, community partners, and fundraising efforts. That generosity is what keeps every one of our services free for the veterans and families we serve. If you'd like to be part of it, you can make a donation anytime.
WORKING WITH US
What happens after I submit the intake form?
A member of our team reviews your submission and follows up using the contact method you chose. From there, we talk through your situation, identify the benefits and services that fit, and build a plan to connect you with the right resources. You won't be handed a phone number and left on your own — we walk with you until you succeed.
How quickly will someone contact me?
Our team reviews every submission and aims to follow up within a few business days. We're available Mon – Fri: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, and if your situation is time-sensitive, calling us directly at 1‑855‑IEARNED is the fastest way to reach us. If you're in crisis, contact the Veterans Crisis Line right away — dial 988, then press 1.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. What you share with us is used only to understand your needs and connect you with services — we don't sell your information, and we don't share it without your permission. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
How can I help?
